Security at OffSiteSeo
Link building data looks harmless until you think about what it contains: client names, target pages, campaign plans and reports, so we protect accounts and data with the same care whether you run one site or many client workspaces.
- No ranking promises. Every paid link uses rel=sponsored.
- Live URL in your report, link checked every week.
- 1 to 40publications a month
- Link checked every7 days
- From24 USDa month, billed yearly
Account security
Every account is protected by a password and email confirmation at signup, with a six-digit code sent to the address you register. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in readable form. Sessions expire after inactivity, and you can sign out of other sessions from your account settings.
We recommend a unique, long password for your account. If you suspect someone else has access, change your password and contact us at [email protected].
- Email confirmation with a one-time code at signup.
- Passwords stored as salted hashes.
- Session expiry after inactivity.
- Alerts by email for important account changes.
Roles and seats
Plans include a set number of seats: 1 on Starter, 3 on Growth, 10 on Agency and unlimited on Scale. Agency adds client roles, so you can give a client view access to their own workspace without exposing other clients. Scale adds roles across the whole organization, with owner, editor and viewer permissions.
Each workspace keeps its own placements, reports and alerts. A user with access to one client workspace does not see another unless an owner grants it.
- Owner: manages billing, seats and workspaces.
- Editor: orders placements, approves briefs, exports reports.
- Viewer: reads reports and statuses.
Single sign-on on Scale
Scale includes single sign-on with your identity provider, so your team signs in with company accounts and access ends when someone leaves your organization. Combined with roles, this lets larger teams and agencies manage access in one place.
Encryption in transit and at rest
All traffic between your browser and our service uses TLS encryption. Data stored in our databases and backups is encrypted at rest. Reports you export are generated on request and delivered over the same encrypted connection.
Infrastructure and service providers
Our service runs with a hosting provider in the EU or US, a payment processor for subscriptions, an email delivery provider for account and alert emails, and a small number of other service providers needed to run the product. Each provider receives only the data needed for its task.
Card details are entered with the payment processor and never stored on our servers. We do not sell your data and we do not share your campaign plans with publishers beyond what a single placement needs, which is the article, the target URL and the anchor.
Who can access your data internally
Internal access to customer data is limited to staff who need it for a specific task, such as editors working on your order or support answering your question. Access is granted per role, reviewed regularly and removed when no longer needed. Administrative actions on production systems are logged.
Publishers never see your account, other placements or reports. They see only the article written for their site and the link it contains.
Data retention
We keep your account data, orders and reports while your plan is active, so you can export history at any time. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for tax and accounting reasons. Backups roll over on a fixed cycle, so deleted data leaves backups as they expire.
You can export reports before closing your account, and you can ask us to delete your data by writing to [email protected].
Security review pack on Scale
Scale includes a security review pack for procurement and vendor reviews. It describes how we handle authentication, roles, encryption, access control, data retention, backups and incident response, in a format that fits most vendor questionnaires. Scale also includes an SLA of 99.9 percent, invoice billing and a dedicated editor. See link building prices for plan details.
We do not claim certifications we do not hold. The pack describes what we do, not badges.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, email [email protected] with a description, the steps to reproduce it and any relevant URLs. Please do not access data that is not yours, do not disrupt the service, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before sharing details publicly. We reply to every report and keep you updated while we work on it.
Where to read more
Our link building process page explains what data each order step needs, and our backlink monitor page describes the checks we run on published placements.
Do you offer single sign-on?
Yes, on Scale. Your team signs in through your identity provider, and access ends when a user is removed there.
Is our data encrypted?
Yes. Traffic uses TLS in transit, and stored data and backups are encrypted at rest.
Can publishers see our other campaigns?
No. A publisher sees only the article for its own site, with the target URL and anchor for that placement.
Where are card details stored?
With the payment processor. Card details never reach our servers.
Do you hold security certifications?
We do not claim certifications. Scale customers receive a security review pack describing our controls in detail.
How do I report a vulnerability?
Email [email protected] with the details and steps to reproduce. We reply to every report.
